This poor quality workmanship is what has been the “industry standard” on the Delmarva Peninsula for the last two decades.

It’s mostly due to unsophisticated individuals getting into the pavement maintenance business on a “shoe string” and then perpetuating scams onto unsuspecting individuals and business’s.

What wrong with the job exactly?

With COVID-19 it has no doubt changed the way we all do business.

Rest assured, we have a plan in place for continuity and reducing face to face interactions.

Today we were able to complete site evaluations / estimates in Stevensville MD, Easton MD and Painter VA.

With our technology we were able to assess the pavement aerially from drone shots taken in November 2019, do a quick drive thru today to verify the assessments of the drone photos and then deliver site evaluations / proposals via email. All while never coming into contact with a single person.

As the Spring approaches we want to remind you of one of the top "cash flow" scams paving and seal coating contractors roll out this time of the year. The old "write me a deposit check and we will give you a call to schedule your job..." Any paving or seal coating contractor who needs a deposit as a condition to schedule your project should be your first warning sign you are not dealing with a properly capitalized contractor. Reputable contractors have access to established supplier credit, credit cards, and bank credit lines. If a contractor does not this should be a warning sign that they are most likely not creditworthy. If they are not creditworthy they most likely have little to no assets to leavy against in the event they run off with your deposit and you obtain a Court judgment against them. Contractors who are not creditworthy coming out of the Winter are in most cases always "strapped" for cash. Your deposit will most likely be going to paying off whatever pressing debt has been following them all winter long- not to the materials to start your project.
