No markets for me this weekend. My apologies to those who were expecting me to be at Albemarle Downtown Farmers Market Saturday.

Apparently no spots are available.

I've made other plans so will not be open for deliveries until at least Wednesday.

Be on the lookout for my next newsletter and plant list next week.

I appreciate you all.

If the forecast holds up it looks like we may get some glorious rain over the next few days. This Saturday morning just grab your umbrella and join me under my tent at the Salisbury/Rowan Farmers' Market where I will add a few new native plants to go into your garden.

First, my tenth species of fern is ready for sale. Southern Wood Fern

Look for two new Tickseed (Coreopsis) cultivars, 'Zagreb' and 'Jethro Tull.'

Coral Honeysuckle 'Major Wheeler' returns with beautiful red flowers that hummingbirds go crazy over!

Two Mountain Mint cultivars round out the new plants this week, Short Tooth and Narrow Leaf.

Check out the photos.

Come on over, rain or shine!

This Saturday, May 23rd, you'll find me at the Salisbury/Rowan Farmers' Market, 226 E Kerr Street. I'll be there rain or shine (I'm hoping for rain).

Whatever the weather, stop by and see me for a selection of native plants for you to add to your garden.

I currently have nine species of native ferns and hope to have more ready for you before the summer begins.

It's still okay to plant but don't forget to WATER, WATER, WATER!!

I hope to see you there!
