So is winter already over? Seems like it just lasted a couple days. Ready to speed things up again. Business has been slow. Which gave me time to deer hunt, spend time with my girls, and overcome some major mechanical issues. Did a little painting, hot water heater install and repair. Wrapped a lot of pipes. Lots of home honey do’s.

My truck sprung a leak. Started to loose a lot of oil. Ended up having to change out the vacuum pump and also the cylinder head gaskets. It was an experience. My patience was put to the ultimate test. Just when I thought I was going to be the next tower shooter. I remember my Army values. Plus just adapt and overcome. That’s pretty much all you have to do to make it through anything. Oh wait, plus a good helper is nice as well.

Im ready for the heat, bring it on. Followed by a lot of work. I need to get all those repairs paid off. I did look into putting it into a shop. Thanks but no thanks. It can’t be rocket science folks. Of course you can’t fix them with a coke can and some duck tape anymore. But they all run pretty much the same. You just have to get down and dirty. Getting down isn’t so easy anymore. But I can still do it.

Installed 6 recessed lights in a kitchen. Removed the old Fluorescent light that filled in a very large box that they had installed in the kitchen years ago. Removed it and measured out my recessed holes. Ran all new wire along with a few junction boxes. Got them all installed and squared away. They turned out really nice. The new paint along with the new lights really brightened the kitchen.

Was really nice to get to work out in the woods for a couple weeks. Enjoy the great outdoors. Not getting covered in paint and joint compound all over me. Big plus was no traffic. Just peace and quiet. Besides the chainsaws and the trees dropping. But that you enjoy hearing.

I'd like to thank everyone who visited our fall and Halloween backdrops and took photos. The children had a blast playing the games. My gratitude also goes to Brandy for her hard work. We had an impressive turnout, distributing over 75 hotdogs. Now, it's time to return to get back to work.

We have been saving our property owners a ton of money by patching these porcelain tubs instead of replacing them. Some come out perfect and you have a hard time finding the patch. The secret to a good patch is thin layers with at least 6 hours between layer of dry time. But more important than that. Is you don’t want to touch it or have water get on it for a minimum of 3 days once your done putting on your layers. Always remember don’t shake, you must stir. Shacking adds air bubbles.
