Friday’s Flowers for a rehearsal dinner 👰🏼‍♀️🤵🏻💕

This week’s flowers stretched my brain a little. 🌸🤍

I had the opportunity to create FIVE tabletop arrangements for a wedding rehearsal dinner for Friday night. The vision: soft pink and white flowers with a lower-profile, elongated design. After looking at some inspiration pictures, I was able to attempt to recreate the vibe they wanted for the event.

Here’s what I learned: my brain struggles with symmetry and sameness.

These arrangements needed to look the same from both sides… and all FIVE needed to look similar to each other. My brain doesn’t work that way! My normal process is usually more like: slap a vase on the table, start arranging flowers, and let my brain create whatever it creates.

My bouquets and arrangements tend to be a little wild and free. Maybe asymmetrical. Maybe front-facing. Maybe “whatever seems to work at the moment.” Nothing formal usually just chaos’

But I genuinely enjoy creating new things and stepping into someone else’s vision. There’s something special about taking inspiration and bringing it to life in a way that still feels uniquely me.

These photos are the final products, and while they pushed me outside my comfort zone a bit, I’m pretty happy with how they turned out. 💕 Thanks Annie Finn for trusting me with such a special occasion!
