The Greenhouse will be moving from its current location and this weekend is the last two-days open to the public. Everything at the Greenhouse will be priced to move with discounts starting at 40% off on plants, pots, and fixtures. 
 
Over the pandemic, our plant specialists developed a program offering biophilic design services that has outgrown our current location and we will be moving to a new location this Spring. For all of your in-store plant and garden needs, we are expanding our current offering at our main location as well as temporarily hosting our Spring workshops at the Melrose Market.  Although change is bittersweet this is definitely not goodbye.
 
Thank you to everyone in the community who supported Greenhouse; all of the workshops and events that we hosted in this old, triangle-shaped, brick building were truly special and will not be forgotten. If you are in Seattle this weekend, come see us on Saturday and Sunday from 11 - 5 pm.

This Thursday, October 6, from 6:30pm - 8:30pm we are hosting our first mushroom foraging class ($65) at the Greenhouse. There are currently only 5 tickets still available.

Learn the basics of finding and identifying commonly foraged mushrooms including: locating ideal habitats, mushroom seasonality, poisonous mushrooms, and information about mushroom's unique partnership with trees.

This is a lecture-style class and each ticket will receive a copy of "Mushrooms of the Redwood Coast" by Noah Siegel and Christian Schwarz.

Instructor Jeremy Collison, founder of Salish Sea Mushrooms, has been exploring the forests of the Pacific Northwest since 2008.

1. Purchase a ticket to our upcoming workshop on 11/22 or 12/20.

2. Select type of terrarium: Low Light or Full Sun

3. Choose In-Store Pickup or Local Delivery. If you place your order tonight, we can drop it off to you tomorrow!

4. Join us on Zoom! We will send you all of the details via email. Hope you have fun creating your own little ecosystem!
