s. Belvedere Builders is owned by James Forslund, a resident of West Seattle and a Seattle Area native. He is an established builder with over 20 years of construction experience in the Seattle area and known for his passion for quality and loyalty to customers. With years of self employment experience and supplementary experience as a project manager with several high-end local builders, he offers extensive expertise in project management, estimating, and construction operations. James is a working project manager (one who is hands-on and gets dirty) and he has managed a variety of projects ranging from $5,000 to $2.3 million. James has an extensive background in a variety of CAD applications and is a skilled draftsman. This experience helps us communicate effectively with design professionals, owners, and vendors about daily issues occurring on jobsites and allows us to identify and solve problems quickly in such a manner that delays and their associated costs can be minimized. In his free time, James enjoys designing and building furniture, water skiing, helping friends out on their home projects, and spending time with his daughter Abby. in Finance and Business Administration from Seattle Pacific University

It is our standard to prime all faces of exterior wood products prior to installation...this step guarantees a full seal of the wood, thus minimizing the risk of cupping, cracking, mildew, mold, and rot. The process requires the use of quality dry wood products from reputable vendors such as Issaquah Cedar & Lumber Company as well as upper end Alkyd based primers from leading paint brands such as Benjamin Moore.
