Community Christian Fellowship Renovations are underway! This back hallway has undergone quite the change (and the new lights aren’t even in place yet…)
Thanks to the whole team who trusted me with the new design as well as my girl Maddie at Patcraft and my husband who crafted the shadow boxes for the wainscoting! Also a shout out to the painters and carpet installers! Gotta love a fresh clean space!

There are other rooms being transformed as well, I just can’t get enough of this hallway before and after!

Getting so close to finalizing this on suite bathroom in Bryant! This space has been completed reconfigured. What used to be a 90’s bath with a long vanity on a 45 degree angle with irregular spaces for the important uses has been given a new entrance location with a transitional space between the bedroom and bathroom. The irregular space (or poché as it was called in architecture school) was organized better to suite the closet, a niche over the toilet, and a linen closet. The toilet room is spacious and bright and also in an irregular shape, but one fitting for the use. This allowed for a central axis with a beautiful central focal point of the freestanding tub and window to the gorgeous leaves of fall (or any season really).
This is likely one of my favorite design transformations in my over 25 years of experience.
It was a joy to partner with the homeowners to make this beautiful space a dream come true for them to enjoy every day!

(Accessories, shower glass panels, and wallpaper yet to come… as if it could be even more beautiful😉)

Framing up some walls in Magnolia…there is something surprisingly beautiful in the orderly structural steel against the backdrop of the forms…which will all be buried in concrete in a few days.

It’s always a plus when what you do for a living allows you to play around in the dirt and feel like a kid from time to time. I also love being a part of the foundational details… making sure the whole house is built well, not just covered up with pretty things…giving her good bones!

Shout out to Decker Designs (tile installation) for making the vision of my client and I a reality! So excited to see the other finishing pieces put into place over the next weeks!!
This bathroom will go into Luxe Stijl Design History as Most Transformed! I love bringing order to this irregularly shaped space, filling the “poché” with a WC nook, linen, and closet space… More to come!

Primary Suite renovation for a Queen Anne condo.

Thankful for another client who loves the results!
The colors of this space are bright and fresh while also maintaining some darker tones that pull through the rest of the condo. This jet setter had so many lovely ideas to incorporate into the project that she found through her travels: The new frosted glass linen closet door, the heated tile floor, the fully automated toilet complete with a heated seat and bidet feature, the heated towel rack… she also considered elements to allow for aging in place, including the lighted magnifying mirror, the stylish grab bar… and we managed to figure out a way to add privacy to the bathroom area over all by installing a beautiful custom barn door to her space, which she also had seen in a hotel that she liked!

The hardest part of finishing the project is saying goodbye to such lovely people, after working so closely together to produce beautiful results!

Only a few more finishing touches to go… In the meantime we are loving this new Fully furnished and streamlined Laundry/...

Only a few more finishing touches to go… In the meantime we are loving this new Fully furnished and streamlined Laundry/Butlers pantry with tons of storage behind the thoughtfully aligned cabinets. Complete with a cool platter pull out!
And let’s not forget about the beautiful bathroom make over with Natural Rift cut White Oak cabinets, and a shower niche as long as the tub and tall enough for the Costco size product bottles!
Six or so years ago we renovated the kitchen, primary bath, and front entrance of this home. We love it when our clients reach out years later to work with us again on other parts of their home! Especially when they are such lovely clients as these ones are.😊
