A massive 7.8-magnitude earthquake struck Mindanao, Philippines yesterday, leaving a trail of devastation across several provinces. The powerful quake, centered off the coast of Sarangani, caused buildings to collapse, triggered landslides, disrupted power and water services, and forced thousands of families to evacuate. Authorities have reported at least 37 fatalities, hundreds of injuries, and ongoing search and rescue operations as aftershocks continue to shake the region. Tsunami warnings were briefly issued and later lifted.l
