We’re not "railing" against the old look... okay, maybe we are. 🔨😜

The "Before" was looking a little rough around the edges, so Two Dads and a Drill got to work. We traded the old, peeling wood for a fresh, sturdy new look that actually makes you want to spend time outside.

It’s amazing what some fresh lumber and a crisp coat of paint can do for curb appeal! If your deck is looking more "dilapidated" than "delightful," you know who to call.

Out with the pink tile, in with a clean modern look 🙌

This bathroom was stuck in a different decade — dated wall tile, old flooring, and finishes that made the space feel dark and heavy. We kept the layout smart and focused on the updates that make the biggest visual impact.

What we upgraded:
✨ Removed the old wall tile that wrapped the room
✨ New large-format floor tile to open up the space
✨ Updated vanity + countertop for a clean, streamlined look
✨ New fixtures and lighting to tie everything together

Same footprint. Completely different vibe. Proof you don’t have to move plumbing or do a full shower rebuild to make a bathroom feel brand new.

Big upgrade on this exterior access 👌

We removed an old, drafty aluminum sliding glass door and replaced it with a brand-new, full-lite hinged door — and the difference is night and day.

What changed:
🔨 Out with the worn slider that didn’t seal well and felt dated
🚪 In with a modern, energy-efficient door with a clean, solid frame
💨 Better weather sealing = less drafts and better comfort inside
🔒 More secure hardware and a sturdier overall feel
✨ Fresh trim and finish to match the home and clean up the opening

Sliding doors are great… until they’re not. Over time they get hard to slide, don’t seal well, and can be one of the biggest sources of heat loss and water intrusion. Switching to a properly installed hinged door gives this space a tighter seal, smoother operation, and a much more updated look.

Another home made more comfortable, secure, and good-looking — just how we like it.

🛠️ We just finished this amazing kitchen glow up!🤩

We removed a tall cabinet and wall, replacing it with a new peninsula cabinet and countertop! It really opens up the room and will provide a central hub for the family.

New deck completed! This one presented us with some unique challenges like getting materials up to the roof, leveling the deck on a flat roof and getting distracted by all the bald eagles nearby!
