Works in progress and process! Busy week pushing hard for our clients to execute the work while dealing with challenges, obsticals, changes, unforeseen issues. Being professional means knowing how to quickly adapt, bend, flex, communicate, and do what we do to continuously produce top notch work! We painted this exterior 15 years ago and are doing it again for a wonderful repeat client. Thanks to the Coast teams for pushing hard to keep things rolling!!

It’s about to go down!….’lil Wednesday early morning action…Masking party with Dan, Dave, & Sam in prep for some exterior siding painting on our Greenlake exterior. Miguel’s team holding it down on our Shoreline remodel with very detailed masking, thorough prep work, priming and painting. We had some rain yesterday, but we keep moving forward with exterior washing in prep for upcoming exteriors.

Sunday Funday! Weekends don’t mean anything when you are a business owner. It’s a 7 day a week thing! It’s a chance to wake up to the birds, see the sun rise, drive on clear roads early morning, .Most people are still sleeping and we’re already thinking and setting our teams up for success come Monday morning….Thanks to Dave and Alfredo for understanding the importance of keeping things moving forward to execute during this busy season!!! Setting ourselves up for success! Shop mobilization, canopy, supplies and equipment set up and ready to go Monday morning on a Greenlake Exterior. Wrapped up a kitchen/ bath remodel paint job. Careful, meticulous prep and detailed precise trace masking, lead to phenomenal results. This stuff doesn’t happen by accident…it takes professionals, teamwork, communication, having the knowledge and use of the best tools and equipment and streamlined ex*****on! This ain’t our first rodeo. Sold one of our custom furniture pieces and Also attended the first ever Bi-lingual event with and we always love using our to keep our tool in top notch order!

We've been busy making things happen! Our team recently completed the fine finish details on a beautiful Bellevue home, gave a Shoreline home an interior and exterior refresh for the market, Dan kicked butt on the interior/exterior painting and Sam took care of carpentry and painting while Miguel and Alfredo handled the restoration work on Teak furniture and black metal gates. Now that exterior painting season is here, the Coast team is gearing up for a productive Summer! Lots of exciting projects ahead!

Always learning and perfecting the craft- from surface contamination, abrasives and surface preparations, lighting conditions, prep levels, spot priming techniques, HVLP testing different needles and tips, thinning product and testing, airless testing, mil gaging wet film thickness, testing and comparing process for HVLP vs airless, applications, drying, vertical all sides vs one side application. Even 30 year veterans of this trade are still learning and practicing the craft. We even pulled out the brush for some samples of hand brushes cabinet finishing. Being from the East Coast and starting my career in Pennsylvania in the mid 90’s, and now with 23 years with Coast to Coast Painting in the Pacific NW and many years with the and , it’s still great to see how different painting companies operate and do things all over the country. I’ve known Steve since the 6th grade, we talk shop, business and employees all the time. So glad to come back and just dive into some great shop work. And I get to see my family and friends. Win win….
