Visited our almost finished Taylor Avenue project last week and snapped some quick photos (just going to be finishing up with some pretty cafe curtains). We used lots of deep greens throughout the kitchen and bath and layered in some beautiful natural stone.

We’re drowning in in-progress projects over here, so it’s all jobsite photos lately! We had two out of town site visits this week - one in Bend and this one at our Walla Walla new build. In Walla Walla, framing is almost complete and things are starting to feel more real.

A snippet of the materials for our Whidbey furnishings project. We’re going for an “it looks like it belongs in a house at the beach” vibe, but not beach themed. Definitely excited about the olive braided rug and window seat fabric grouping we’re using in the dining nook.

Meet Lauren Hockema 🤎

Lauren’s passion for design led her to work for high end residential design firms in Seattle, as well as a commercial interiors firm, before co-founding K&L Interiors in 2013. She is driven by a meticulous attention to detail and is inspired to create thoughtful, cohesive spaces for her clients. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Art in Interior Design from Washington State University.
