POV: you’re trying to sneak a peek inside. 👀

Because when the exterior looks this good, you already know you want to see the rest.

From the architecture and landscaping to the interior finishes, this home was designed as one complete story. Warm materials, clean lines, natural textures, and thoughtful details carried from the outside in.

That’s always the goal with a full-home renovation or new construction project: the first impression should make you curious, and the inside should make you want to stay.

Would you be peeking through the windows too? 🤍

Someone gets to call this home.

The construction is finished. The floors are in. The lighting is up. The final details are done.

And now comes the part we love most.

This finished bedroom gets to become someone’s room. A place to wake up, wind down, decorate, make memories, and eventually forget it was ever just an empty space.

That’s what we love about home renovation and new construction. We’re not simply finishing rooms. We’re creating the backdrop for the life that happens next.

The dark accent wall, warm wood flooring, natural texture, and clean architectural lines were designed to give the room character without deciding the story for whoever lives here.

The room is ready.

Now someone gets to make it theirs.

The part of a bathroom renovation nobody talks about enough? The in-between. 🤍

The unfinished details. The decisions. The waiting. The days when it feels like nothing is moving fast enough.

But here’s your reminder: **progress is still progress, even when you can’t see the finished picture yet.**

We’re sharing a little behind-the-scenes look at one of our primary bathroom renovations. From white oak cabinetry and warm neutral tile to the details that eventually bring the entire space together, every stage matters.

Whether you’re renovating a home, building a business, or simply working toward something bigger, don’t rush the part where it’s all coming together.

✨ Beautiful things take time.

Save this reminder for the days you need it.

The detail that makes this kitchen feel custom.

One of the best ways to elevate a kitchen isn’t adding more materials. It’s choosing the right materials to work together.

Here, we paired a softly veined countertop slab with a quiet vertical tile backsplash. The stone brings movement and warmth, while the tile adds texture and rhythm without competing for attention.

That balance is what makes the combination work.

A design rule we come back to often: **if one finish has movement, let the other bring texture.** Not every surface needs to be the statement.

It’s these smaller material decisions that take a kitchen from simply finished to thoughtfully designed.

Would you have paired the slab with tile, or carried the countertop material all the way up the wall?

Save this for your next kitchen remodel or new construction project.

Some houses don’t need to be forgotten. They need someone to see what they could become again.

This one has been waiting for its next chapter.

Right now, she’s rough. An older home in need of a serious renovation, a lot of work, and an entirely new life. But underneath everything that has been neglected, there is still a home worth saving.

Our job isn’t simply to make it look new.

It’s to take a tired fixer upper and thoughtfully reimagine it into a home someone will walk into, fall in love with, make memories in, celebrate milestones in, and build a life around.

That’s the part of home renovation we love most.

Seeing beyond what a house looks like today and designing for what it can become tomorrow.

This is just the beginning.

She’s going to shine again. ✨

When the countertop slab meets the tile just right. 🤌

One of our favorite parts of kitchen design is creating material combinations that feel intentional without trying too hard.

Here, the soft movement in the countertop is paired with a quiet vertical stacked tile backsplash. The tile adds texture and rhythm, while the slab brings just enough movement to keep the neutral palette interesting.

The design lesson? Your countertop and backsplash don’t need to compete.

If one material has movement, let the other bring texture. If one is bold, give the other room to be quiet.

That balance is what makes a neutral kitchen feel layered, elevated, and timeless instead of flat.

Save this kitchen backsplash idea for your next remodel, and follow Flipping Seattle | Design + Build for more material pairings, kitchen renovations, and full-home transformations.

The kitchen everyone wants… but it’s the way this one *works* that makes it special.

For this full kitchen renovation, we kept the palette warm and timeless with natural wood cabinetry, clean white countertops, black accents, and an oversized island designed for everyday living.

Because a great kitchen isn’t just about beautiful finishes.

It’s about creating a space where people naturally gather. Where there’s room to cook, sit, talk, entertain, do homework, pour another cup of coffee, and stay awhile.

A few things that make this kitchen work:
• warm wood brings softness to the clean white surfaces
• the large island creates a true gathering zone
• the black window and fixtures add just enough contrast
• simple finishes keep the entire space feeling calm and cohesive

The best kitchen remodels balance **function, flow, material selection, and the way the home will actually be lived in.**

That’s when a kitchen stops being just another room and becomes the heart of the home.

Save this for your kitchen remodel inspiration.

Front yard landscaping can completely change the curb appeal of a home… and this one is about to prove it.

Right now, it’s basically a blank canvas. But the goal isn’t just to “add some plants.”

Good landscape design should work with the architecture. It should frame the home, soften the hardscape, guide your eye toward the entry, and create layers of texture and scale that make the entire exterior feel more intentional.

For this front yard transformation, we’re thinking about the exterior and landscaping as one complete design instead of treating the yard like an afterthought.

Because sometimes the house doesn’t need another renovation.

It just needs the right finishing layer.

Wait until you see what this front yard becomes. đź‘€
