Crispy Gooey Buffalo Bacon Cheddar Chicken Poppers
Ingredients:
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
½ cup buffalo sauce
1 cup breadcrumbs
2 large eggs, beaten
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
Cooking spray
Instructions:
Preheat Oven: To 400°F (200°C).
Prepare Chicken: In a large bowl, combine chicken pieces with buffalo sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to coat.
Mix Cheese & Bacon: Add shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon to the chicken mixture. Stir until evenly distributed.
Prepare Breading Station: Set up a station with beaten eggs in one bowl and breadcrumbs in another.
Bread Chicken Poppers: Dip each chicken piece into the egg, then roll in breadcrumbs to coat. Place on a greased baking sheet.
Spray & Bake: Lightly spray the chicken poppers with cooking spray for extra crispiness. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
Serve & Enjoy: Let cool slightly, then serve with extra buffalo sauce or ranch dressing for dipping.
