No, this is not our new location. This is the atrium of our generous former neighbor who is hosting our first pop-up event while we search for a home. We’ll be offering the wonderful cacti and succulents from Fleetfoot & Foulweather on August 29th (noon-7pm) and 30th (10am-4pm). Come on by and say hi!

Our Big Red Barn has a new home in South Seattle. Tilth Alliance disassembled it today and is bringing it to their Rainier Beach Urban Farm and Wetland. “We’ll use it for our Good Food Bag program, we provide low cost bags of local, organic produce to families, seniors, preschool classrooms, and other partners. The members who pick up their bags at the farm will get them from this beautiful shed!”
We are so happy it will be used for the community in this way! ❤️❤️❤️

With sadness, but relief, we watched this beautiful Full Moon Maple saved from sure destruction. Planted over 25 years ago, this beautifully structured tree was lovely every season, but showstopping in fall, and gave us much joy over the years.
Thank you Big Trees, Inc of Snohomish for coming so quickly to rescue the tree before it leafed out. It was amazing to watch your crew carefully extract it today. We hope she finds a good home. ❤️😢🍁💔

We were able to gather, reminisce and laugh one more time before the store closed. For all of us, our time at City People's Garden Store has given us such a special feeling of community and family. We are so grateful to Alison Greene and Steve Magley who set the tone throughout the years of camaraderie, compassion and care for each other. 🥰🌸❤️
