FREEZE WARNING!!! This weekend. To help protect your water lines and pumps from cracking or bursting open, you should leave a faucet open and running all night to keep your pump running. Moving water is less likely to freeze.
IF YOUR WATER DOES SHUT OFF, the first place the water freezes is the smallest lines, typically your pressure switch like. Apply a warm washcloth around the pvc, copper, or poly tubing to help thaw the water faster. You can also use a blow dryer but be careful not to overheat that line.
