The future of Krazy K's Homestead has been up in the air for a while....I've been struggling on how to provide the best life for Kannon while also finding peace and tranquility for myself.
Last summer, we had a plan and were going to make a drastic change. We sold all of our outside animals, stored all of our garden supplies, and were ready to go! Then the house sale fell through and we put everything on hold. I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason so I leaned into that.
Last fall, we decided to make the transition to city life (not small town) and we're looking into moving to a metropolitan area that would provide more options for Kannon. We researched, we budgeted, we discussed the best option for us and we were getting excited for our new adventure! Then our family received some devastating news and those things came to a screeching halt.
I believe in God and I believe that our plans haven't come to fruition for a reason, even if I'm not always sure what that reason is. Right now, I'm not sure where life is going to take us. My heart is split between living a simpler life, having animals, a bountiful garden and creating beauty with flowers, and giving my son experiences and opportunities to be everything his mind dreams of.
I say this to both apologize for disappearing, and also provide a heads up that you will likely see posts again ❤️❤️ I'm leaning into things that bring me joy - sourdough, flowers, and God's beauty. We are putting a pause on getting anymore animals at this time as a majority of my focus is spent on finishing up my degrees. So if you're still here and following our page, thank you ❤️❤️
Peep how big my now 12 year old is, and how massive Kona has gotten!
