We spend time on layouts and how things flow in real life. Plans are great but nothing compares to being on site, and being able to feel/visualize the flow real time.

Communication with the client and setting expectations equally as important while making changes on the fly.

Just don’t, might be the answer.

Yes I have used a router on O.C lumber before. Low speed, 2 passes, eh. It works but not ideal either.

Maybe with a certain type of router bit, if you know of one drop me a link!

I’ve been picking up the Hkc 55 a ton lately.

Being able to cut these metal railings to fit (top and bottom rail already clipped in) without the chop saw saves a ton of time and aggravation.

How many change orders were there?!

When these homeowners first reached out they had some wants/needs and also some concerns. This bathroom was retrofitted in an existing bedroom in the 80’s. The home was built in the early 1900’s. There were still hardwood floors under the built in tub! After much deliberation and conversations on how we would approach to get them there outcome, they chose us! Good decision? They think so, and so do we.

Deciding factor: He saw us in video, working on older homes like his. He trusted that we could handle the obstacles these old homes throw at us when we open them up.

***Change orders: 1 They decided to delete the k**b in tub in the entire home once we saw how much ran through the bathroom floor. Everything else: already accounted for. No surprises.
