Good afternoon everyone! I wanted to make an announcement that I not only build new furniture, but I also repair old furniture! This is a progress photo from a jet black end table that I'm restoring. It's made of oak and maple.

This month's recap:

- Walnut and spalted maple stemmed wine and champagne glasses
- Cherry, white oak, and purple heart inset cutting board (made to fit a camper sink, as to keep counter space free)
- Walnut handled ice cream scoops
- Cherry and maple turtle coasters
- A ton of rough sawn cedar slabs for a surprise project in June!

Overall this past month has been full of fun and somewhat challenging projects. I also have an end table that'll make an appearance tomorrow! I hope everyone had a wonderful May!

The oak and cast iron bench has been fully restored! Rust removed and painted, wood slats replaced with toasted white oak soaked in boiled linseed oil. The hardware has also been replaced with stainless steel carriage bolts with ny-lock nuts.

This project has taken a month to complete, but it was worth it! The case body is made of English Walnut, the door is Black and English Walnut, solid brass hinges, museum grade acrylic, and a brass lock set. It will be hung on a wall with French cleats.
