HAZARD TREE REMOVAL – JUST IN TIME 🚧
Yesterday we removed a seriously dangerous tree that was only standing by luck. Once we started to cut, we discovered it was completely hollow from top to bottom. This tree was leaning toward the road and was tired, ready to fail under its own weight —posing a major risk to drivers, pedestrians, and nearby property.
Based on its size and growth, this tree is most likely estimated to be over 300 years old, meaning decay had been happening quietly for decades. It’s a good reminder with trees like this that age doesn’t always equal strength.
We are grateful we were able to remove it safely. A huge thank you to the town of Salisbury for their traffic control and camaraderie, Arbor Pick’s Crane Service for helping with such a big project, and a thank you to the residents of Lakeville for their patience yesterday.
