I’m so proud of my city, my Mayor, my service department, my first responders and everyone else involved with making the third annual day of remembrance a success. Getting my Bill signed into law was a major accomplishment, and having this event, the last three years has really spread the word about this amazing little suburb. People all across the country have gotten to learn a little about our community. Goldstar family members know that in Seven hills, Ohio, people gather to say their child’s name. That makes me very proud!

So many thanks need to go out for today’s day of remembrance. Thank you to Mayor Biasiotta for helping me turn an idea into a real reality. Thank you to Jen,Paige, the seven Hills service department, police and fire departments and everyone else at the city that participated. Thank you to Cleveland police Chaplain Father Douglas BROWN, thank you to American Legion Post 572, thank you to State Rep Haraz N. Ghanbari thank you to state Senator Jane Timken thank you to Governor Mike Dewine for signing Senate Bill 244 into law, thank you to Hayden Grove for singing the national anthem again, thank you to the Sergeant Major at the Brook Park, Ohio Marine base for sending so many marines, thank you to the Sailor’s that came and stood at attention the entire time, thank you to everyone that took time out of your workday to join me as we honor 13 of our nations heroes. And lastly, thank you to those 13 heroes for your service and your sacrifice. Hopefully I am living a life worth dying for. You will not be forgotten in Ohio. hopefully what we did today in Seven hills, Ohio brought a little light on what is a very dark day for those gold star families
