I believe that organization and preparedness are paramount to completing projects safely and correctly. My earliest memory of using tools is when I made my first pine wood derby car in boy scouts. I was hooked at 8. Next came bamboo bows and arrows, small skateboard ramps, and changing bike parts. e there were NEVER any parts left over when I put them back together. My first career job came when I was 23 in Ocean City when I began working for a local electrician. I learned the trade by hand and also took a few classes along the way. After about 6 years I was running jobs for the company. I focused on how we could save money on material and labor by being more efficient and less wasteful. Four years later it was time to move on. Next stop San Diego! In the first six months I worked as a Commercial Electrician and received my General Electrical License for CA. I then worked for a custom home electrician and at the same time began to develop my own business. After about 1 year of working long hours I had enough business to completely go out on my own. As Hang 10 Handyman I performed a variety of tasks for many homeowners. Ikea furniture assembly, hang wall art, install wall mount TV's and wire components, anything electrical - add or change fixtures, landscape lighting, painting, etc. I also did service and repair for National Brands. The commercial side of business taught me a lot about having to do things for the customer a certain way . Each company I was working with did things a little differently. From Estimates to Invoicing, I performed all tasks necessary.
