What the Organic Garden Ready Soil looks like after sitting all winter and after potato forking.

I bought a truckload 2 years ago. I believe I paid somewhere's around $500 for it. I filled my raised bed garden and got the best produce. I have ever seen in my life.

His soil comes with complete certifications. Telling you exactly what is ph and all other contents are in it. I recommend it highly. I have bought it. Insane, 18 inch long 3 and a 1/2 inch round zucchini, never seen such a thing.

Lettuce survived cold snap without artificial heat!

Uncovered this morning at 9AM Wednesday March 18th. Lettuce has been covered since last Saturday!

Ok, we have beautiful 3 week old leaf lettuce getting ready for the cold snap.

Here is what I did to protect...

1) Laid a solar blanket in the sun for 5 hours

2) Covered the plants with a large amount of straw.

3) Placed plexiglass over the plants so the solar blanket does not squish

4) Placed the solar blanket on top of the plexiglass

5) Placed a tarp on top of my small greenhouse

6) Placed a large rug over the tarp.

Fingers crossed and prayers, the tender lettuce may survive without artificial heat!

Cold snap this Sunday and Monday!

Bring your plants inside or do your best to protect.

15 degrees as a low per KY3.

Even the plants that take cold weather are at great risk of freezing.

If you are unable to bring plants inside...

I have used 5 gallon buckets, solar blankets, straw, and tarps. Not fool proof, but definitely better than nothing.

I can't bring my lettuce inside. I am using the tools listed above. I will let you know if the lettuce survives!
