Saturday emergency no-water call in Oxford this weekend.

We responded in less than an hour after receiving the call and quickly diagnosed the issue—a broken wire approximately 35 feet down in the well.

No water call in Ansonia yesterday. Nice 70’ setting with a bad pump. As always, the direct replacement was on the truck and water was restored within an hour and a half of receiving the call!

Pulled this pump out in Bethany. Me and my father installed this pump in 2007’. It is for a golf cart washing station and fills bulk tanks on a golf course. After this winters break, it decided that it was only going to run intermittently until it finally quit this morning. The owner called in a panic about the situation, so we got in our supply house on wheels and put the direct replacement pump in before noon!

No water call today in Beacon Falls. We found a pump trapped in the well. We massaged it loose with the excavator. After the pipe breaking a few times and catching it by the wire, we got the entire pump system out. It was set down 380’ on 1” pvc. Now to put the system back together!

Got a call for a leak on Easter Day. Went out and found a pressure switch that looks like it was hot by lightening at some point and possibly damaged the switch. Looks to me like the current chases the pipe ni**le up to the switch where there was a ground bonded. Over time this created a leak. About the only explanation I could come up with to see the corrosion and the black burn mark.

Also, in better light, you can see the bottom plate that is burned has turned yellow and blue throughout which typically indicates heat. Was an interesting one for sure. Anyways, another happy customer on a Sunday AND a holiday!

Replaced this old pump me and my father installed in 2002. This was a Meyer Rustler pump. They lasted forever! This one would still run, but the cable broke. So we replaced the pump and cable. It was all in stock on the truck as usual.

Would love to keep using these pumps but our supplier stopped carrying them because we were the only one buying them. Once people found out how long they lasted, our competitors stopped using them. Our supplier wasn’t moving enough of them for just us so they stopped carrying them. Fortunately, we found the company that we use now. They also hold up the excellent! Hopefully another 24 years out of this one!

No water call in Woodbridge ended up being a bad pump. This one was nice and shallow at 50’. Love when they aren’t deep!

Hydro fracked this well in Seymour. The production had gotten very low and this customer got tired of running out of water just on general use. So we found the well was plugged up with drillings from when the well was drilled and a lot of iron. We flushed the well afterwards and made sure that the water cleared up so that it could be used right away.

All done in a day with no excavation or additional pump work. Just pull the pump, do the service, reinstall the pump then enjoy plentiful amounts of water! For the best well water water solutions around, call us at 203-906-6765!
