To some, it’s just a tiny cabin far from everything and everyone.

To our clients, it’s 40 acres of peaceful retreat from the big city noise and decades of family memories.

They were set to interview 5 contractors to finish the interior. They ended up only meeting with one, cancelling the rest.

Not because of cost. Because they knew immediately, their family property would be treated just like it’s our family property.

We are excited for the reveal!

We have some surprises in mind!

Good enough is never the standard.

We were hired to handle paint touch-ups, small drywall repairs, and a punch list of items before new owners moved in.

When we finished, it was acceptable, but it wasn’t right.

That’s not how we operate.

So we’re repainting the entire main level. On us.

Why? Because we don’t upsell and we don’t make excuses.

What we discovered was years of attempted color matching by previous owners. There were seven different shades of what was supposed to be the same color. Even done correctly, touch-ups would never blend cleanly or look professional.

The right solution was a full repaint.

Integrity comes before profit. Every time. We stand behind our work, even when it costs us.

We aren’t a labor pool. We are a compliance- and standards-driven company.

Built by tradesmen. Backed by standards.

Another job done the right way. No shortcuts. No excuses.

Recently, The Blue Collar Crew completed a flooring leveling project for a homeowner who was dealing with uneven floors caused by structural issues below the home.

We didn’t use sub-par products or quick fixes. We evaluated the situation using proven methods. We consulted a structural engineer and proper supplier. We informed the home owner every step of the way.

- Ellis steel powder coated supports for proper, adjustable structural support. Not "basement jacks"

- Walder composite footings placed per engineering standards, not stacked blocks, not dirt, not guesswork

- Sistered joists and added proper blocking to restore load transfer and stiffness

- Sealed and glued all sub flooring to joists where gaps occurred or we placed one.

What we found underneath mattered.

The original build had no blocking, and in multiple areas the subfloor fasteners had missed the joists entirely. In addition, renovation had caused weight distribution towards the center of the home.

Over time, that leads to movement, noise, and uneven floors. We corrected it the way it should have been done from the start.

And then we did what we always do.

While working in the crawl space, we had to move significant material across the v***r barrier. So before we left, we replaced the v***r barrier. Not just the section we touched, all of it. That wasn’t in the scope. It was simply the right thing to do.

We also noticed it was unusually hot under the house. The reason? HVAC ductwork was leaking heat into the crawl space. Again, not part of the job, but while we were there, we sealed and taped all the ductwork properly.

That’s how we operate.
It’s not about cutting corners.
It’s about doing it right, even when no one would know the difference.

That’s The Blue Collar Crew standard.

HAPPY NEW YEAR from The Blue Collar Crew

You ever notice how New Year’s is the only holiday where everybody’s like…

“THIS is the year I finally get my life together.”

And by January 3rd you’re eating shredded cheese over the sink like a raccoon.

Your house knows it too.

Because the second you say “new year, new me,” your garbage disposal is like:
“Good for you. I’m quitting.”

That loose handrail you’ve been ignoring?
It’s gonna pick tonight to officially retire.

And that door that only shuts if you lift it and pray?
Yeah… she’s done.

So if your friends or in-laws get to celebrating and something breaks…

Don’t argue about it. Don’t start a “quick fix” at 1:00 AM.
Just call us tomorrow.

And if you want… we’ll bill the responsible party so you don’t have to.

Every trade. One trusted crew.

We can bring back structural integrity to your home with a method called “sistering.”

Apologies, returning the integrity to your family’s “sistering” problem is unfortunately out of our scope.

We cut this one close! Automatic dual arm gate on a custom fence install. Just in time to keep the in-laws out for the holidays! 😂

Still some wire clean up and remote app work to do but … it will serve its purpose just in time!
