Whew it’s been a busy couple weeks. I’ve had some commission pieces to make and just had family stuff keeping us busy it has been great. Today I did make a nice 9 3/4” by 2 1/2” food safe cherry bowl. Came out nicely. Even put a little bead around the rim for easy pickup.

We have 6 Wrought iron Cladded 1084 billets available, $150 each various length and thickness. I can adjust sizes if needed many of them are near 2" wide, #1.25. Reach out if interested ill be posting to my site by the end of the week if not sold. Wrought Iron is sourced from old Wagon wheel.

Just got back from the event and had a great time. First time going and it was the 3rd annual. First time open to the public too. There were forging classes and vendors. Mainly catering to Bets but the public interest was great. Instead of dishing out 300-400 bucks on a deep hollowing tool I bought the metal and made my own. Great to have a friend that’s a blacksmith. Even heat treated the scraping edge. Southern WV Veterans Blacksmith Hammer-in

Come on out to Southern WV Veterans Blacksmith Hammer-in tomorrow through Sunday I’ll be out there. If you have a piece of wood and bring it with you I may be able to turn you something right there on the spot. My little lathe is about a 10” but I will have my chainsaw with me. Lol.
