Fallows ca 1880 clockwork platform toy monkey riding elephant with movable swinging trunk alongside baby elephant,rear wheel support soldered in place to always turn and... its a bell ringer.Also the thick rim heart shape wheels are an unusual addition,they threw all the features they could think of for this toy.

here are 2 Judd andirons that are gigantic cast iron images of the Ives Santa bank in every detail , alongside 2 Ives Santa banks ...one gold painted and the other japanned more common finish.I mounted the two on bases with Christmas trees and polychrome color painted like the Ives rare version, a few tin toys thrown in for a neat Christmas display.Why were these Santa andiron designs copies of the Santa bank,there must be a connection somehow.
