Started our extensive property reclamation contract for our client in McLoud today. This is phase 1 of a 3 phase project, with the possibility of additional work. We are currently in the process of performing the first phase, which entails clearing a very large overgrown area about 50-70 feet deep on average running half the length of the clients fenceline, roughly 75-100 yards long. The underbrush is so dense with blackjack saplings, vines, briars, wild hedge, and small cedars that a rabbit couldn't run through the thicker portions.
In addition to clearing the under brush, we're removing any and ALL Cedar trees we encounter in the work area, selectively removing any trees that are impeding the growth of larger, healthier, more valuable trees, removing numerous dead trees as big as our Skid steer's tree saw can cut, removing any preexisting fallen trees and tree debris within the underbrush, and finally, removing a sizable section of wild hedge/bush. Per the clients specifications, all debris that is produced from both our own removal/clearing, and all of the preexisting debris, is going to be gathered and placed in multiple stacks to be burnt off at a later date by the homeowners.
Watch for more progress pictures coming soon documenting the landscape transforming from an unsightly and uninhabitable wilderness, to a clean and open looking front yard. The finished product will be refined and ready for the homeowners to plant Bermuda and install playground equipment this spring!!
