The first lottery application deadline for free dove Permits is June 30. This lottery is reserved for resident hunters only. Permit recipients are provided with a one-day hunt during the first 5 days of the dove season, Sept. 1-5, or a hunt on the opener Sept. 1, for youth and youth/adult mentor hunts.

Illinois Free Fishing Days are June 14-17 this year!

Free Fishing Days is an annual four-day celebration during which anglers can fish without purchasing a license, salmon stamp or inland trout stamp in Illinois.

The deadline of the first lottery for firearm and muzzleloader deer permits is fast approaching! First lottery is for Illinois residents only.

Applications are accepted through April 30 and paper applications must be received in the office by that date. Second lottery dates are May 13 through June 30.
