I appreciate everyone’s patience. I have received well over 300 calls in the last few days. I’ve tried to help everyone that I could. A level three inspection was conducted and revealed that another company had vented a woodstove through an existing prefab fireplace with an air cooled chimney that was not rated for this application. The fireplace was removed as well as all the charred framing members that were damaged from the improper install. And a class A chimney installed.
