Today we removed another dying tree for our Shelbyville neighbor! This tree was dying and threatening our client’s home.

I wanted to say a big thank you to Phinehas too! He’s been with Eden Arborist for about 3 years now, since the beginning really! In that time, this young buck, only 19 years old now, had learned to run skid steers, excavators, fell monster trees, and even climbs and dismantles them! We’re sad to see him go, but today was his last day with us and next week he’ll start heavy equipment operator school in Ohio.

We had a very busy week! Super profitable with several jobs completed, but we ended the week with this one! This large pear treat was the second job we completed this Friday, the first job was a bunch of pruning fruit trees, and several hackberries and then we rolled on to this complete removal in Bagdad, KY by 12 o’clock and we were done by 4 o’clock!

The tree was in tight, quarters being in the backyard next to a pool and some other landscaping, but our crew did a phenomenal job of keeping up with chipping what I dropped as I climbed and cleaning up. Big shout out to Logan from Central Equipment Rental for delivering the excavator that we used to the jobsite to load up firewood logs. Once we were done with that job on Friday, Saturday I use Excavator to clear the lot and organize all the logs that will be split into firewood this coming fall.

This week we closed up on a land clearing job in Simpsonville! We were able to free up an entire acre of overgrown woods for our client, enabling him to make far more use of what used to be a very tight space at the end of a long drive!

Big shout out to Central Equipment Rental for participating on this big project with us, specifically, Geoff Tomes and Logan Clark who ran the skid steer and forestry mulcher while we managed the tree removal and pruning required.

Of course, thank you to my team, Austin Keeler and Phinehas Migliacci for your hard work on this project! Couldn’t have done it without you guys!

Austin and I had a great day subcontracting the climbing and rigging for a Pine Tree Removal in Middletown, KY with Luke Stopher from Luke’s Lawn and Landscaping!

It was a quick and easy removal, with some rigging, and some speedlining. We also used the GRCS to crank some of the larger leads over away from the roof of the client’s house. It was super windy today! But the lord kept us safe!

The Lord gave us a very successful day today! We had scheduled two jobs today, but then a client called and asked to get bumped up because of the heavy rains due in Pleasureville, KY, and his hard-leaning maple needed to be removed. We added him to the schedule and were done with his and the first job by 10:30am.

Our last job in Frankfort, KY was a large project with two large Oak removals and two deadwood prunings. We were able to remove the Oaks but had to postpone the prunings.

Phinehas taught Austin how to run the GRCS today and Austin got an extensive amount of experience cranking, lifting, and rigging large, long oak branches from over the client’s house.

Praise God for good weather and amazing guys to work with!

Big shoutout to my sister Hannah who joined us on our jobsite and took pictures, connected with neighbors, and even got us another job while we worked! 💪

We had a great day removing a very, very large and dying Maple in Seymour, IN and another large Pine. Roth’s Tree Service hired us for the contract climbing and Randy Prunty with the crane. Working with Korbin and his crew is always a big day! If you have trees—especially large ones—anywhere from New Albany, IN to Indianapolis then give Korbin a call. There are few guys with the same skill and experience as Roth’s Tree Service to remove large, dangerous trees in southern Indy. Another insurance job on the books!

This tree on my client’s neighbor’s property recently failed and fell on my clients property.

A big thanks to Jackson Richardson with Big League Rofofers for referring us to the client!

A big thanks to Chad Strand with 999-Tree for joining us with his big crane and the chipper and chipper truck set-up!

Also a big thanks to my crew, Phinehas and Stetson. So grateful to have such phenomenal young men on my team!

We started this job at 6pm and finished just after midnight! But we got it all down and safe!

Today we were finally able to fit in this emergency removal in between bouts of rain this week. Last week a localized storm blew this half of the tree over. It failed because the base of that lead was hollow, which can be seen in the last pic, as I stood on top of what remained.

God blessed us with safety and kept the rain away! Praise him for answered prayers, and he deserves all the glory!
