I had a issue with the AC in a house that I’m remodeling in Goshen. I let the homeowner know that it wasn’t working and the outside unit wouldn’t start. She contacted Air Serve heating & cooling in Louisville to come out and check the system. The company that originally installed it. They did a diagnosis and found that the dual capacitor was missing and wires were burnt. Instead of the technicians trying to repair the system they told the homeowner that it was a total loss and they couldn’t repair it. The only option she had was to replace the unit for a minimum $10,500-18,500.
I felt that the company was trying to take advantage of her. So I contacted Todd Waldridge with Todd’s Heating & Air Conditioning for a second opinion. He was very busy and a couple counties away from me. But when I told him the situation. He said he would be there in about an hour. He came out did an inspection of the unit. He agreed that the capacitor was missing and a few wires need to be replaced . He replaced the parts and fixed the unit & cleaned very well and it runs like new. He saved this homeowner thousands of dollars. I recommend if you ever have any issues with your Heating or AC system. Please give Todd a call. He is very honest,helpful,and professional about everything and isn’t out to take advantage of you. Thanks Todd for all your help.
