While finishing the whole house remodel in Kamilche, WA, we also started a lake cabin remodel on Phillips Lake in Shelton and are nearly completed. Here are some before and after photos. I hope you can tell which are which =). We're currently working on finishing touches on this project.

It's been a few months since our last post. We have experienced a staffing shortage and were focused on our client's projects. Here are some finish photos of the project that we've been working on since January.

It’s been a busy two weeks at the Kamilche whole house remodel! Sub floor was completed in both stories, tile is up in the guest shower, master bath custom shower pan has been built, wall painting is nearly complete, custom quartz kitchen counters were installed, and finish flooring is going in on both floors.

Keep an eye out for next week’s post as doors and millwork will be installed!

As with any construction project, there are inevitably unforeseen delays and issues, but we soldier on through! Drywall finishing is taking a bit longer than expected, but finals coats of mud and texture are being applied today and tomorrow. Next week we will be painting and doing cabinet installs.

You will notice in the pictures that we prefer to install moisture resistant drywall on the bottom half of all walls in potentially wet areas, i.e. kitchens, baths and laundry rooms. Quality building, for long term use, and our client's peace of mind, is what we do!

BOOM there it is!!! (well, a boom truck anyway...) Drywall was delivered this week. Inspections for framing, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical all passed. Insulation, sub floor, and cabinet nailer boards installed. Almost ready for the drywall installation!

The plumbing and electrical rough-ins are completed at the Kamilche remodel project. Now waiting (patiently....) for inspections so we can fire-stop and insulate before the drywall is installed next week. Check back soon!

We have our plumbing sub-contractors in this week to do the rough-in plumbing work on the whole house remodel. Boyd’s Plumbing is doing a great job!

We finished up the garden shed / pottery studio in Shelton, and our clients love it. In the pictures below you can see how nicely it progressed from just bare framing to the finished product. Let the pottery making commence!

Our whole house remodel in Kamilche Point is moving right along as well. Pics will be coming soon, stay tuned!

We are back to our normal Pacific Northwest weather, which means rain, lots of it. We are expecting 3” today! But the best thing about the rain is… we don’t have to shovel it to get our work vehicles out of the driveway!

This week we began a whole house remodel project for a client on Kamilche Point near Shelton. Step one was to start framing out the new laundry room in the existing garage area. This will be a fully insulated room once it is completed.

Snow? Snow-mageddon is more like it! It’s been a busy week INSIDE for us, doing paperwork, preparing bids, etc. Because of the all of our inside work, we will treat you to some sunny pictures of a previous project: a 16’ X 16’ backyard pergola we built for our clients in Snohomish, WA.
