Please stay weather aware today. We will cover all product and will close if any threat of hail is in our area. The process of moving and covering product is so routine now I could do it in my sleep. If we close we will immediately post on our weather blog at:

This year will end as all the others have. We will remain open daily, 9am to 7pm, until July 3rd and will close for the season starting July 4th. We have excellent quality remaining in baskets AND bump up pots. We still have a great selection of 3 inch discounted annuals. On July 5 we will begin repairing hail damage and planning for 2027. As always we thank all of our supporters and invite you to fill those last empty pots sitting in the corner of the garage.

I want to get ahead of any rumors that always spread like wildfire. EVERY SINGLE PLANT HAS ABSOLUTELY NO DAMAGE!!! Kelli and I closed at 6:30 tonight to allow us time to double cover plants and move everything to a safe location. Greenhouses at home will need new plastic as the hail destroys the outer layer. $8000 to recover, multiple days to do it, and no insurance on greenhouse coverings. Every year is a challenge and this one is no exception. If you want to help, I might have overestimated the number of 10 inch baskets we grew. I’d invite you to buy a gift for that neighbor down the street that blows your snow off the walks every winter. Or maybe buy one for grandma for always baking those secret recipe cookies. Better yet get the boss one. Never hurts to suck up now and then! And by all means, please remember and never forget: FLOWERS MAKE ME SMILE WHEN THEY’RE ALL AT YOUR HOUSE AND NOT AT MINE!
