UPDATE 7:35 AM: Outages are down to 4 customers in those caused by storm damage. The last group in Sherwood had a tree damage a transformer. Crew work continues to get power back to these customers.

UPDATE 11:10 PM: Outages are down to 531 customers in approximately 4 outage areas. This includes 432 customers in area from S Grand to Laurel between Douglas and Lowell and:
-43 in Iles Park area
-42 in Sherwood
-16 Marland & N 6th S of E Sangamon

If you are without power and are outside of these listed areas and have not already reported your outage, you can make a report at 217-789-2121.

Crews will work to restore power until all service is back.

UPDATE 10 PM: Outages are down to over 700 customers. Around 400 customers were just picked up from one of the Cornell substation outages. Crew work will continue until power is restored to all customers. Electric equipment damage not reported, can be called in to Electric Dispatch at 217-789-2121.

UPDATE 9:35 PM: The largest outage area remains over 800 customers on a circuit from our Cornell substation that runs S of S Grand Ave from Whittier to Douglas. Other outage areas include,
-Several streets around Iles Park
-Part of Sherwood
-15th & 16th S of S. Grand
-Marland & N 6th S of E Sangamon
-And 7 other small pockets of outages

FROM EARLIER: Crews are responding to a few power outages this evening following the storm activity. The largest outage area is impacting over 800 customers on a circuit from our Cornell substation that runs S of S Grand Ave from Whittier to Douglas. Crews are about to restore power to some areas around Ash Street and another group near Livingston Street. There are 12 other smaller pockets of power outages around the city that crews will work to restore as quickly and safely as possible.
