When they cut the slab, they cut the PT cable with it. Thus, requiring a PT cable repair.
I’m sure that was expensive to repair.
Get a slab inspection! Stop wasting money on avoidable accidents!!!

Before you jackhammer through that slab to redo plumbing, install pilings or move an electrical outlet,
GET THE SLAB SCANNED!!!
Don't guess if there is a pt cable or a beam in the way.
Get a professional scan and save the costly price of a repair and your homeowner giving you bad reviews!

Well, there was no GPR inspection performed here and the PT cable was sacrificed.
Who pays the repair bill on the PT cable?

Why the 2 different concrete patches you ask?
The square patches are for the pilings under the beam and the round are for pilings under the 4” slab.
Only way to accurately find this situation is with a GPR. Save time and money and let us do the homework!

Planning a remodel which requires moving load bearing walls or moving the plumbing around in the concrete to make a dream kitchen or bathroom?
Get a GPR inspection before you cut into the concrete and destroy a post tension cable or move a wall from a part of the slab designed to carry the load to a non supporting part. These failures can wreck a house!
