I’m not sure what happened with the service today. I was with a friend at South Fork Grille last night, and I can’t tell you how disappointed we were.

We sat at the bar, where there were three people working behind it, yet we felt completely invisible. The initial bartender/waiter passed us at least a dozen times without ever making eye contact or asking if we needed anything. In fact, after taking our initial order, he never checked on us again until the very end of our 1 hour and 45 minutes at the bar.

After repeatedly trying to get someone’s attention and eventually waving our hands in the air, another bartender finally stepped in so we could order a second glass of wine. Thank goodness the food and wine were good, because the service certainly was not. South Fork Restaurants
