Final grinding complete, ready for hand finishing!

I was going through a pile of old razors and was able to find these four that I had forgot about. I’m about halfway done with their restoration, all will need new scales. Also pictured is a custom that is going to be final ground and ready for hand finishing hopefully by end of this weekend. It’s 80CRV2 and will be full hollow, at least that’s the plan!

Found some time in the shop this weekend. This is from thought to rough ground and heat treat. One in 1095 with a hamon, thinking full hollow and the other is in Blue #1.

Some Sunday morning honing. I’ve been trying some different methods of finishing recently and have been taking all edges to a synthetic SS 12k prior to finishing on a natural. I used to just take it to 8k and then finish but I’m always trying to chase a “better” edge. Not sure if it has made any difference but the edges have been great so I think I’ll keep this method for now….until I feel the “need” for a better edge…😳

Ready to Go! All of these razors have been completely restored and will be shave ready. These are not listed yet and will be listed on my Etsy and Ebay pages. If you're interested in any of them DM me and I will give you a price. All razors are in great shape. A few have not been final honed yet so if interested I have several choices as finishers. Some really great ones in this group with some really neat a etchings and unique factory scales.
