Forney, our story is one of hard work, service, and perseverance. We first advertised as “Dealers in hardware, cutlery, paints, cement, ect.” We’ve been through a Civil War, a Great Depression, and still have passed down the spirit of J.W. McPherson, a man who under cover of night deceived the confederates by hiding supplies in the fire places, then telling their leader “Here’s a department which

you didn’t investigate,” pointing to the coffin fixtures. His son’s built houses, raised families on Prince Street and helped the community here in Shippensburg. Our name bearers Ralph D. Pague and Denny M. Fegan, who worked in the same building for decades before purchasing the store in 1925. Mike Fegan & his son Kevin still run the store today, offering the same expert knowledge, hometown service, and expansive inventory. As true as it was in 1956 with our first newspaper review, “Their extensive premises are filled to repletion with everything in their line. They know what their patrons want and their goods are gauged accordingly.”

🚨 BIG NEWS FROM PAGUE & FEGAN HARDWARE! 🚨

After years of searching, planning, dreaming, and waiting for the right opportunity, we are excited to officially announce that Pague & Fegan Hardware is moving to 300 S. Fayette Street!

You may remember it as the old Rite Aid building.

Leaving our beautiful downtown location is bittersweet. We love being part of the heart of our community, but the truth is simple—we’ve outgrown our current space. After years of looking at countless properties and possibilities, this was the only option that truly made sense and allowed us to continue growing while remaining affordable for our business and our customers.

But here’s where it gets exciting…

We’re not just taking over the Rite Aid building.

We’ve also added nearly 7,000 square feet from the building next door!

That’s right… Pague & Fegan Hardware is expanding to nearly 12,000 square feet of hardware heaven! 🔥

That means more products, more inventory, more brands, and more reasons to make us your hometown hardware destination.
