Somehow this is THIS WEEKEND!!!

I was only accepted into one holiday market this year (I’ll still be at Pike Place Market quite a bit), but it’s one I’m really excited about. I’ve only heard good things and the vendor list looks pretty incredible. Stop by and see me plus a few other people I know make this market worth it this weekend December 5-7 at the Phinney Neighborhood Association at 6532 Phinney Ave N. in Seattle.

Rollerball and twist ballpoint pens back in stock on the website.

Several pens in different materials (raw wood, dyed burl, swirled epoxy) and finishes were recently added. More on the way!

Website finally updated! After too many months of sold out products we finally got the website re-stocked. All finished available cribbage boxes are currently online. A lot more are ok the way (including some new designs and the premium boards), but as these are all made completely by hand with no automation, they’re quite time consuming.

I should add all orders over $100 get free shipping in the United States, and when I return to Pike Place Market later this month many of these boxes will be coming with me and temporarily moved from the website.

On the website tomorrow! Here are a few (and better) shots of the crosscut cholla cactus hybrid pens that originally didn’t last a week at Pike Place Market. These all have a magnetic cap and post and the hardware can be switched between fountain and rollerball pens.

Like Purpleheart?

This piece sold before I was even drilling the holes in the board. Tried something new and made the actual box out of Purpleheart with Maple bottom and splines with the board itself using a Purpleheart and Maple chevron pattern with Walnut.

This is my favorite all wood cribbage box to date and I’ll be making variations of it. If you’re interested in something similar contact me for holiday pre-orders.

These three pens sold immediately, so I’ll get better photos on the next batch.

These pens are hybrid resin and cholla cactus that’s been crosscut. I thought I would get more of a floral pattern from them but I think I like the results better.

A couple small hinged keepsake boxes just finished up, Both with mitered and splined corners. Opened box made with Sapele and Walnut with a Walnut burl top, the other made of quilted Maple, waterfall Bubinga top, and Wenge bottom and splines. Hopefully you’ll see a lot more of these at my table soon!

Something a little different today. I had the perfect sized off-cut from a kaleidoscope pattern I’m working on that I decided to turn into a pen, and I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.

Using 7 different wood species in many different shapes and sizes, it produced what I think is a cool retro scalloped effect. I also finished with a friction polish instead of CA to give a more natural feel to the wood.

Come join me tomorrow (June 28) at Lake Union Park from 10-5 at Gobble Up Seattle! This show is focused on the best craft food makers in the area so there’s something for everyone.

This will be my last show of the summer and the weather looks like it’ll be absolutely perfect. I’ll be posting my Pike Place Market dates soon.
