Here's Andy clearing honey locust branches away from a client's roof. While it's important to remove branches that threaten to damage your home, it's equally as important to make sure not to cut back too much. Trees can help keep our homes cool in the summer and warm in the winter, but can't serve those functions if they are too far away!

Throwback to a line clearance job from this summer. The clients' cable provider told them they were going to miss the Bucks playoffs if their lines weren't cleared for service. Fortunately, Andy has Electrical Hazard Awareness and Prevention training and knows how to work safely around power lines. We got out there ASAP to make sure they didn't miss the Bucks win!

A client took this photo of Andy and I working together to identify dead wood in this honey locust. Honey locusts can be messy trees and drop dead branches often- but that doesn't mean it's sick or dying. In fact, locusts are good at compartmentalizing decay and can seal rot off from the rest of the tree before it can spread. Regular pruning can keep your lawn cleaner and your tree healthier!
