I spent several hours with a 75 yr. old client thinning out her closet. She had a big career at one time and was still clinging to her business suits, dress blouses, tailored pants and fancy dresses. None of them fit her current body nor her lifestyle. I enjoyed listening to the stories of how, why, and when she wore these articles of clothing. It was hard for her to get rid of them as she was letting go of a period of her life that was very important to her. I ended up donating them. I hope the next owner feels as important and successful when she wears them.
