I am a Pinay who previously worked in an office setting, left the hustle & bustle life in the city, relocated to a rural area in the White Mountains, currently engaged in backyard homesteading, attempting to live off the land, thru gardening & poultry.

It is almost time to transplant seedlings to the garden, however I am nowhere near completed transferring seedlings to the pots. Here in Vernon, we don’t really start planting in the garden until after June 1st because we could still have a frost at the end of May. As year passes, you learn these phenomena, got to watch those nights in the 30s… it is a demise to your plants, therefore never make a mistake of planting now, or else you’re going to regret it.😳🌱🪴

One chaotic spring here in Vernon with a dancing lunatic wind, full of allergy, surrounded by these easy go lucky juniper trees that are unselfishly blowing its pollen & mixing it with the wind. The fun of homesteading here in Vernon, AZ❗️ Welcome to the White Mountains ❗️😜
