A customer reported an issue with a breaker. They were having issues with the heat in their home and the HVAC technician suggested that the homeowner have the breaker looked at. It turned out that the main lug on the panel was loose which caused the bus bar to overheat and burn up. This melted the furnace breaker. For this homeowner, the burnt bus bar equaled a new panel.
