Good morning Facebook. It’s been a while as it has been busy. Just wanted to express how nice it feels to complete a project and hear how happy the homeowner is with the work. I have always been a firm believer that if you help someone get what they want, usually by default you get what you want, and generally that’s how a good business operates. However, every once in a while people will share with you a genuine gratitude for the hard work and dedication you gave from project start to project completion. That’s why to me, I didn’t just build a deck, I built a families ability to create years of happy memories by giving them and their children a beautiful and safe space to play and create those memories. To be acknowledged for creating that feels far better than the paycheck for doing the work. Here is what I built to create that happiness

Hey there Facebook. It's been a while since I've been in here. Been super busy doing good work with some very appreciative people. There is no better payment than referrals. There are some helpful keys to getting referrals. 1st, be personable. Real people are happier working with real people. 2 Don't get annoyed when clients hover and watch. It means that they are engaged with what you are doing so feed that curiosity by offering an education on the topic. 3, people are always going to take a shot at getting you to help out with something outside the scope of your work and usually it's small. If it is small, give it to them. Just a little bit of charity can open an unexpected amount of doors. And lastly, and I can't stress this enough, DON'T CUT CORNERS. it hurts the client and in turn hurts your business. Cutting corners cuts careers short. Hopefully some of this wisdom will be put to practical use and improve a business or career. I will post some new before and afters soon. Thank you all. Talk to you again soon.

All of these first projects I posted have been an absolute joy to work on. I look forward to making more homeowners happy with their newly imagined spaces.
