Painted the handrails with Sherwin Williams Emerald urethane paint. It makes the finish almost look like PVC! It lays down sooo smooth. No wonder they charge twice as much for it.

I had a customer who wanted to paint the arched brick alcove in her kitchen. Now, I always take my prep work before painting very seriously, but this time I figured years of cooking smoke, and grease would be an issue, and therefor my prep work would be even more important. I carefully cleaned the brick and mortar around the cooking area with an industrial strength degreaser, then gave it 24 hours to completely dry. Then, I applied Sherwin William Loxon paint for masonry, to the brick and mortar. The result was a beautiful finish that will last for years. The customer was very happy with the results.

I was trying to remove the lint out of a customers dryer vent system and discovered the reason I wasn't making any progress was this! Total blockage... the worst I have ever seen. This customer told me it was taking 3 hours to dry clothes. Folks, keeping your dryer vent system cleaned out is important for three reasons. 1. The amount of energy used. 2. The wear and tear on the dryer. 3. It wears out your clothes. When you dry your clothes it breaks down some of the fibers and creates a byproduct we call lint. When the dryer vent system is blocked and the clothes take three times as long to dry, it creates more wear on your clothes. Keep an eye on your drying time and let me know if I can help you.

When your in the business of working on other peoples houses you see some pretty strange things. This is one of the most unusual jobs I've been asked to do. The owner asked me to decommission a fall out shelter in his basement. Sorry if your claustrophobic!

The U.S. Fire Administration cites that there are 2900 home clothes dryer fires every year. We cleaned out 24' of dryer vent for a customer after her new dryer wouldn’t dry any better than her old. You can't exhaust a dryer through a clogged vent pipe.
