This is not a drill. If you want your plants to stay alive make sure you are watering! They need an inch a week. There isn’t a chance of rain in the foreseeable future. Water, water, water.

Like I always say, you only have to water the things you want to live!

Spring has definitely sprung! But we are not getting consistent rain like we normally would this time of year - we are already behind on rainfall this year. If your irrigation hasn’t been turned on yet - or you are your irrigation - make sure to be watering your plants regularly to keep those blooms coming!

Hallelujah for rain! I hope you got some at your house this evening as well! But keep in mind while we are grateful for any rain we get that was not enough to substitute for you watering your plants! Consider that supplemental water and continue your regular watering routine. With the heat and how dry it is, you should be watering every day if not twice a day.

Great video from HortTube on the struggles of watering this time of year. It is SOOOO dry and unusually hot for Signal Mountain. Daily watering is a MUST to keep plants alive. Even then, sometimes the heat and stress are just too much for some plants after the last few years of extremes. I hope you get some good information from the video.
