King Locksmith and Doors Inc is seeking Qualified Experienced Locksmith Technicians and Door Installers in the in MD & Washington DC Area for a full-time position to join our team. Candidates must have previous experience in repairs and installation of commercial and residential locks and doors with specialized abilities used in the repair, maintenance, and installation of locking systems, mechanical and electronic hardware. Work may require lifting to 50 lbs. for Door Installers at some work assignments. Locksmith Primary job Duties:
Installs, repairs, rebuilds, and opens mechanical and electronic locks, locking systems, door closers and locking devices.
Prepare estimates of time, labor, and materials. Complete required reports or documentation related to work
Operates and maintains hand and power tools and equipment of the locksmith trade. Cleans work area upon completion of project.
Able to troubleshoot and rebuild locks, lock cylinders and lockets to include re-pinning/re-keying locks.
Repairs, assembling, and disassembling all types of major industrial and domestic locks.
Set up master and sub-master lock systems.
Install and repair vertical and horizontal panic hardware.
Install and repair mortise, unit, integer, cylinder, deadbolt, and auxiliary style locks.
Maintain company vehicles, tools, and other property in proper manner.
Ability to work independently
Perform other duties as assigned.
