3 years.

I honestly can’t believe Transparent Remodeling has been in business for three years.

I know to some people, three years might not sound like a huge milestone. But when I started Transparent Remodeling, it was a side business. I was simply trying to make some extra income and pay down what felt like an overwhelming amount of credit card debt.

I never imagined it would grow into what it is today.

We now have four employees, a mill shop and office, and a business that continues to grow year after year. There have been plenty of long days, late nights, mistakes, lessons learned, and moments where I wondered what I had gotten myself into. But looking back at how far we’ve come makes all of it worth it. (And might I add the most patient/loving/believing wife I could imagine)

I’m incredibly proud of the guys and girls who have helped build Transparent Remodeling into what it is today. I’m just as thankful for the customers who continue to call us project after project, refer us to their friends and family, and trust us in their homes and businesses.

And to every new client who chooses us for their home or office renovation, thank you for putting your trust in us.

We still have a long way to go and a lot we want to accomplish, but today I’m just grateful.

Three years down, and we’re only getting started.

The cabinet manufacturer couldn’t supply matching baseboard molding in the custom color our client chose for their kitchen island.

No biggie—we’ve got it covered. 👊

People often ask me, “You must have a small army working for you.”

The truth? We’re actually an extremely small operation.

What we do have is a lot of motivation, attention to detail, and a genuine drive to give our clients the best service possible.

When something doesn’t come exactly the way we need it, we don’t make excuses—we figure it out.

At the end of the day, I just want to do the best work I can for our clients and make sure the finished product is something we’re proud to put our name on.

It’s the little details that make the difference. 🔨

It’s always exciting to look back at where a project began and see just how far it’s come.

This sweet home renovation down in Niantic is entering the final stretch! We’re wrapping up next week, with just one final piece left—the arrival and installation of the custom cabinetry.

We can’t wait to reveal the finished product. This transformation has been incredible, and we’re excited to share the completed space with you all soon.

Ready to build projects you're proud to put your name on?

At Transparent Remodeling, we're not looking for someone who just swings a hammer. We're looking for skilled carpenters who take pride in craftsmanship, solve problems, and want to help transform ordinary houses into extraordinary homes.

Every week, you'll work on exciting residential renovation projects including custom kitchens, luxury bathrooms, whole-home remodels, additions, and high-end finish work. No repetitive production work. No cookie-cutter jobs. Every project is different, and every day brings new challenges.

What You'll Do

Install doors, trim, and finish carpentry
Install kitchen and bathroom cabinetry
Flooring installation (LVP, hardwood, laminate, tile prep)
Tile installation and bathroom remodeling
Drywall hanging, finishing, and repairs
Interior and exterior painting
Framing and structural modifications
Work alongside a professional remodeling team to deliver exceptional results
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite

What We're Looking For

Experience in residential remodeling
Strong carpentry skills and attention to detail
Ability to read plans and solve problems independently
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
Ability to communicate professionally with homeowners and team members
Pride in producing high-quality work
