Happy Friday Flower Friends! š
Hope youāve had an amazing week! Thereās so much happening right now behind the scenes at the farm! 90% of our field planting is doneā¦whoot whoot! We just have a few things that got too hot in this weekās blazing temps & after the last frost we had just the week beforeā¦Ugggā¦Plants donāt like these drastic changes!
Besides that, weāve got a bathroom going in the flower barn so we can start hosting micro events like baby showers, bridal showers, company parties, etc as well as adding a roofline over the patio in front of the flower barn so our u-picks & design classes can be a bit more enjoyable out of the blazing sun. Also, the flower barn itself is finally getting a facelift! We couldnāt be more excited for the amazing additions and hope to share them all soon!
Until u-pick season hits, our hoophouse is currently busting with blooms so if youāre in need of flowers for any event shoot me a call or a text @ 712-490-2932 and weāll get you taken care of. We also deliver! Any special flower requests please plan in advance (a week or 2 is needed) so I can order florals if you need specific colors or flower types. Ex: āI want a dozen roses delivered tomorrowā, unfortunately I canāt fulfill requests like this without advance notice, but what I can fulfill isā¦āI need a $ā amount of arrangement for a bday gift, she loves pinks and yellowsā. This I can work with and will give you something unique and freshly cut straight from our hoop house or field!
Hoping to get u-picking kicked off again about mid July, but when we get closer I will make a post here! Plan for our typical Thursday nights as well as adding some adult only time slots for date night and some Saturday mornings per our usual! Canāt wait to see you all soon! āŗļøš
