Tinspirations by June I design and create home decor out of reclaimed corrugated steel. Each Tinspiration is unique and full of character.

With support from family and friends this hobby evolved out of the desire for a creative outlet during the pandemic.

Happy Fall!! This preowned corrugated steel was pulled from an orchard and crafted into a pumpkin with a plasma cutter, free hand. Layers of fall paint were added for the just-right dimension and texture. Instead of hanging, I chose to secure a stick (pruned from my tree this year) to the back. After a clear coat laquer this pumpkin added a splash of color to this outdoor greenery. I’m in love with how it turned out!!!

This is the outcome of a fall painting party. The guest of honor picked the design, I crafted a pattern and cut out this three layer flower, free hand from pre owned corrugated steel propagated from an old orchard. After I brushed off the dirt, beautiful rustic steel with dents and holes are left behind. Many beautiful flowers were created at this gathering.

Crafting with my Bible study group last night.

Just as Jesus picks us up and brushes off the dirt to make us new, we took reclaimed corrugated steel, brushed off the dirt, scrubbed off the grime, and with care made it new. A beautiful reminder of Jesus’ love.
